It seems that pvDesign is calculating the AC capacity wrong. If you multiply the number of inverters by the capacity of one, it should be different.

This happens when you have the power factor enabled. pvDesign will multiply the number of inverters by their Pmax and by the resulting power factor at the inverter’s output.
