Updates April 2024

Exporting your companies Statistics & KPIs charts and viewing the main Interconnection results in the design interface.

RatedPower- backend v16.15.8, Frontend 8.0.0

In April, we've enabled companies to export their Statistics & KPIs charts for the last month to improve data handling coming from RatedPower. Furthermore, we’ve released the Interconnection KPIs in the design interface including the results for substation, switching & breaking station, and overhead lines. Finally, this month we laid the groundwork required to release exciting new features in the coming months. Stay tuned to learn more in future latest updates posts!

New Features

  • Export Statistics & KPIs charts: Admins can currently download data for up to a month, and in an upcoming release, and soon, we’re planning to allow selection of wider time ranges. The feature also enables admin users to export a table specifically related to country projects.
  • Interconnection KPIs in the Design Process screen: Now you can see the main key results of the substation, switching & breaking station, and/or the overhead line directly in the design interface. You can find the KPIs in the right sidebar below the Financial KPIs.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Improved flow for storage inverter selection to prevent simulation errors.
  • The AC term of the BESS/AC ratio in DC-coupled BESS now refers to the active power of the inverter (instead of the apparent power) to keep coherence with the DC/AC ratio and the supply hours.
  • Fixed the issue with checkbox list filters, keeping the selection options.
  • Enabled users to set Japanese as their default language.
  • Improved the performance and loading time for sites with very complicated geometries.
  • Fixed a bug which caused failed horizon profile uploads giving no feedback to the user.
  • Fixed a bug that was giving a simulation error when the meteorological data returned invalid data.
  • Fixed a bug which caused string inverter simulations to have string boxes.
  • Fixed a bug which caused the interconnection facilities to be not considered as restricted when positioning the first PS for no roads.
  • Fixed a bug which showed a private module as public in the Design Process.
  • Fixed a bug which prevented being able to view and select fields when too many areas with “Areas shared LV” was chosen.
  • Fixed a bug which caused that the energy report in French had missing variables.
  • Fixed a bug where the three winding transformer was enabled despite having one single MV line.
  • Removed a paragraph in the report on AC-coupled BESSs that referred to the loss due to the power limit of the inverter that could be used to charge an AC-coupled BESS.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred when mv paths from three areas are connected circularly and not connected to the substation.
  • Fixed a bug which caused financial results to overlap when numbers were extremely high.
  • Fixed a bug which prevented users to insert input values in the batch tool for the German language.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the power station dimensions to change incorrectly when modifying the length value.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the user from seeing the icon name in the sidebar when hovering with the mouse.
  • Fixed a bug that did not allow selecting more designs to compare in the comparison tool.
  • Fixed a bug which caused the pitch distance sorting to not work properly in the comparison tool.
  • Fixed a bug which caused MV lines precision error when defining the orientation of MV lines towards the substation
  • Fixed an error for simulations failing when switching and breaking station and power factor were enabled together
  • Fixed the MV connection between areas when using custom cables and empty areas are present.
  • Added an error message for the cases where the switching and breaking station polygon is too small to fit the stations.
